Republic Metals Corporation (RMC) of Miami was founded in 1980, and has grown to become one of the largest and most respected primary precious metals refineries in the world.
Its accreditations on LBMA, COMEX, SGE, and SBMA are proof of its refining excellence; it is recognized for its business practices by the Responsible Jewellery Council, Conflict Free Smelter Initiative and Ethical Alliance, AND; its processes are certified as environmentally friendly, as demonstrated by its long-standing ISO 14001 registration.
RMC has added value to its 1 oz. gold bars with a newly-designed and tamper-proof packaging. It features an ingot-securing cradle designed to ensure complete protection from movement or tampering. The red assay certificates show some of its good delivery listings (see above) and the reverse side displays its purity (999.9), weight (1 troy ounce), certified assayer signature and the ingot’s individual serial number.
The design of this 1-ounce gold bar is dominated by the RMC mintmark on the obverse, with an iron rod above the “M”, which is being heated into a fiery furnace for purification. This component reflects the RMC’s ongoing discipline and dedication of its craft. The reverse of this all-American-made product displays the logo in a repeating diagonal pattern.
