On the reverse of the 2026 American Silver Eagle, a powerful image shows an bald eagle descending onto its nest while grasping an oak branch. Surrounding the design are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM" ("Out of many one"), "1 OZ. FINE SILVER", and "ONE DOLLAR". The reverse design was created by Emily Damstra of the Mint Artistic Infusion Program and sculpted by medallic artist Michael Gaudioso.
Every coin includes a reeded edge variation for enhanced security and bears the “W” mint mark, reflecting its striking at the United States Mint at West Point.
